How are 'active contacts' counted?

An active contact must be (a) subscribed with marketing consent, (b) not unsubscribed, and (c) not hard-bounced. Unsubscribed or bounced contacts stop counting immediately and do not affect your tier.

How does tier billing work?

Each paid tier is a single flat Shopify recurring subscription — one fixed monthly charge, no usage line items, no per-contact overage. The price you see is exactly what you pay every month regardless of how many emails you send within your included limits.

What happens when my contacts grow past my tier's limit?

You get a 7-day grace window where sending continues normally and you see an in-app upgrade prompt. After grace, new sends are soft-blocked until you approve the next tier in Shopify (Shopify requires your explicit approval for any price increase — we can't auto-charge). The upgrade tap takes seconds.

Free includes 5 drafts/month. Starter: 50/month. Growth: 200/month. Pro: unlimited (subject to per-user rate limits: 30/day, 15/hour, 3/minute).

Can I downgrade to a lower tier?

Accepted Answer

Yes — downgrade anytime from the billing section inside the app. The change takes effect at the start of your next billing cycle. If your contact count exceeds the lower tier's limit you'll be prompted to reduce the list or stay on the current tier.

Is there a free trial of paid features?

Our Free plan IS the trial — use it as long as you like. It includes abandoned cart recovery, basic templates, and 5 AI drafts per month. When you're ready, pick the tier that fits your list size.

What if I have more than 50,000 contacts?
